What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are made from bio-degradeable gel composed of hyaluronic acid, soft tissue dermal fillers add volume to the skin through tiny injections, smoothing facial folds and wrinkles and areas around the mouth, eyes and cheeks. 

 

Dermal fillers instantly smooth away wrinkles, when appropriately administered creates structure and hydration to the skin and the underlying tissue. It is a non-surgical treatment that restores volume and rejuvenates in the face shape. This treatment is becoming increasingly popular to help reverse the ageing process without having to under go surgery. Topical anaesthetic is used to improve comfort during treatment.

How long does dermal filler last?

Dermal Filler results are visible immediately and last 6-24 months, depending on the body's metabolism and exercise routine. Results can vary from patient-to-patient.

What is the recovery?

Most patients experience minimal downtime. Some swelling, tenderness and minor bruising is to be expected and this can usually be covered over with make-up.

Which areas can be treated?

Dermal fillers can be used in specific areas such as lips, chin, mouth, cheeks, tear trough, ears, nose, hands, it can also be used in any depressed scars. You can choose to have one area at a time or multiple areas at once.
